Totally Radd!!

Totally Radd!! fought back from the future and into your hearts and it was the greatest battle on earth. Love is fleeting, power is eternal. Alas, the band is no more, but thankfully their album Shark Attack Day Camp preserves the classic keytar-driven futuristic ’80s sound for all to enjoy.

Frontman Neil Schuh first started writing music as a kid when he would make up songs for all of Nintendo games he played, usually singing along to describe his character’s immediate predicament in the game. As an extension of this, he was a purist about working with monophony. The simply 1 oscillator synths the band uses on most of the tracks mimic the limitations and characteristics of the NES sound.
